The Classics
ABOUT THE CLASSICS
Classics Elements awards recognize outstanding individual components or tactics
of programs or campaigns that incorporate sound planning, execution and evaluation.
PRSA Classics Elements are awarded in 16 categories and several subcategories.
Students may enter Student Classics Elements in five categories.
Classics Programs awards recognize outstanding public relations programs
that incorporate sound research, planning, execution and evaluation. PRSA Classics
Programs are awarded in 13 categories and several subcategories.
Finalists will be notified in February 2005 following judging of the Classics
entries. Winners and runners-up (if selected) will be announced at the Classic
Awards Banquet on March 10, 2005. Only one Classics award may be awarded in
each category and subcategory. No awards will be given in categories where
judges determine that the entries do not merit them. A certificate of excellence
will be presented to finalists whose entries are of Classics quality, but do
not win the highest award.
BEST OF SHOW
Winning entries in all PRSA Classics Programs categories will be considered
for the Best of Show award. The Best of Show winner represents the finest example
of Minnesota's public relations programming. The recipient will be announced
at the Classics Awards Banquet.
